proxy

Asadar, consideram ca aveti acces la net in mod direct. Am sa va prezint 3 metode de a descarca imaginea de windows prin browser(IE si Firefox) sau direct prin IDM sau cu  uTorrent. Vom face asta, prin utilizarea unui proxy si un anumit port. 
Am sa va prezint cum se face, la browsere, introducand urmatoarele date:

Personalizare Windows 7 – tema oficiala de ziua pamantului

Microsoft a lansat o noua tema pentru Windows 7. Aceasta contine imaginile castigatoare la concursul de ziua pamantului organizat de Bing in luna aprilie.

Dupa cum puteti vedea, imaginile sunt printre cele mai frumoase oferite pana acum de Microsoft, sau chiar de Bing. Rezoluitia in care sunt disponibile este, bineinteles full HD – 1920×1080. Puteti descarca fisierul in cauza (*.themepack) de mai jos:

Cum sa instalezi Mac OS X pe PC

Deoarece dupa ce am facut postul cu OS X pe PC am fost asaltat de intrebari gen ” wow, cum ai facut, zi-mi si mie, wtf ” , m-am decis sa fac un tutorial special pentru asa ceva si sa nu mai raspund la fiecare in parte ce si cum. Tutorialul mai jos:

Calitatea este proasta, dar nu execrabila. De ce? Tutorialul initial cu grafica buna avea vreo 582 MB si nu il puteam uploada mai nicaieri, asa ca l-am redus la 69 MB.

Tre sa fi prea prost, sa nu intelegi ceva din tutorialul asta, facut si in romaneste, si pas cu pas ca pentru handicapati. Mie nu mi-a dat nimeni mura in gura si a trebuit sa imi bat capul zile sau chiar saptamani sa aflu ce si cum si sa duc instalarea la bun sfarsit.

Asa ca ziceti mersi de tutorialul asta, si asa prost cum se vede, pentru ca SE POATE INTELEGE DIN EL si asa, daca esti atent.

Daca intampinati probleme, sunt gata sa raspund la ele oricand, dar sa nu aud faze ca nu am inteles ceva din film, pentru ca am explicat cum am putut mai bine si mai detailat.

Ce pot sa zic, bafta la instalat de Mac!

Quick Launch si in Windows 7

Ii este cuiva dor de Quick Launch? Mie unuia da. In momentele in care folosesc  Windows 7 chiar pot zice ca imi lipseste destul de mult.

Fata de Superbarul din Windows 7, Quick Launch-ul are cateva avantaje. Unul dintre aspectele pentru care il prefer in defavoarea Superbar-ului este faptul ca pot sa adaug un shortcut la My Computer si astfel sa imi pastrez desktopul curat ( sa am numai gadget-uri,  nu si icon-uri. )

Mai mult sunt si cateva programele pe care nu le pot baga in Superbar si se ofera singure sa isi faca scurtatura in menu ( Windows Explorer) ceea ce nu ma ajuta foarte mult.

Dar ajunge cu vorbaria inutila si sa va explic cum se poate readuce la viata Quick Launch-ul si in Windows 7. Incep prin a mentiona ca acesta nu a fost inlaturat ci doar a fost putin ascuns.  Pentru  “a-l scoate la lumina” trebuie urmati urmatorii pasi:

• Dati un click dreapta pe Taskbar, selectati Toolbars si bifati optiunea New Toolbar.

• Navigati pana la urmatorul folder (Browse): Totusi cred ca ar fi mai usor sa dati un copy / paste in adress bar-ul din Windows Explorer la urmatorul text:               %SystemDrive%\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\

• Localizati (cautati) si selectati folderul Quick Launch, apoi dati un click pe butonul Select Folder.

• Veti putea observa ca in dreptul zonei de notificare (Notification Area) – vai cum suna in romana – a aparut un nou toolbar (nimeni altul decat Quick Launch-ul mult dorit).


• Pentru a putea muta mai la stanga sau mai la dreapta Quick Launch-ul, dati un click dreapta pe Taskbar si debifati optiunea Lock the taskbar.


• Un alt aspect important ar fi scoaterea sau introducerea unor programe din Superbar, dar asta este mai mult o chestiune de gusturi – click dreapta pe icon si selectati Unpin this program from taskbar, daca nu mai doriti ca acesta sa apara in Superbar.

• Pentru a adauga iconite (shortcut-uri) in Quick Launch procedati la fel ca in Windows Xp, folosind metoda Drag and Drop (click stanga ori click dreapta – copy here / move here).


• Pentru a dezactiva Quick Launch-ul e mult mai putin de lucru. Ca de obicei, as completa eu, e mult mai usor sa strici decat sa faci.  Deci, ceea ce aveti de facut este sa dati un click dreapta pe taskbar, mergeti la Toolbars si debifati optiunea Quick Launch.

How to Enable AHCI in Windows 7

What is AHCI?

For those unfamiliar with the term AHCI, it stands for:

The explanation can be confusing and bit difficult depending on whom you ask, so the simplest explanation I found was from EVGA. According to EVGA.com, “…it is a newer technology to provide advanced features to the Serial ATA standard. It allows for access of the native functions of the SATA interface such as Native Command Queuing (which allows greater performance by optimizing how controller requests data from the hard drive) and hot swappable of SATA devices so that you may remove SATA drives from your PC without first having to shut down your computer.”

What is the difference?

SATA has two modes: IDE and AHCI. IDE is an older mode used with past devices and provides the most compatibility for the older hardware.

Do I have it?

It will depend on your hardware. You’ll need to contact your manufacturer or hardware documentation. Or do what I did and just boot into your BIOS and check.

How do I use it?

To use AHCI, Windows requires specific drivers, which are installed during Windows installation. The only problem with AHCI is it needs to be enabled in the BIOS prior to your Windows 7 installation; doing so after you have installed the OS will cause Windows not to boot. However, there is a way to enable it after windows has been installed.

WARNING: This tip requires editing the Windows registry. If you don’t know what you are doing or do not feel comfortable doing this, please do not attempt. Making changes to the registry can result in performance issues or even damage your Windows installation.

Here we go:

In the Windows start menu search box type regedit, then right-click the entry and click Run as Administrator.

 

In regedit, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services, in the left pane click msahci, in the right-hand pane right-click Start then click Modify…

 

In the window that opens, change the value to 0 (zero) and click OK.

Close the registry editor.

A restart is needed and upon boot go into the BIOS and enable AHCI (this step will vary depending on your BIOS); when Windows boots it will finish installing the AHCI drivers.

Another restart will be necessary to finish the driver installation.

Some user experiences, that I’ve read, with changing over to AHCI claim higher Windows Experience Index (WEI) scores. I haven’t seen a jump in mine. I did clock the before and after startup time for Windows and noticed a 5 second longer boot time with AHCI enabled. This might be because of AHCI or it could just be a fluke. I’ll let you decide.

VMDK To VHD Converter: Convert VMDK To VHD Format

Microsoft Windows Virtual PC, VMware and VirtualBox are the big names in virtualization world. Most likely, you have heard all these names. If you have installed VMware and Microsoft Virtual PC on your system, you might want to convert your VMware (VMDK) virtual hard drive images to Microsoft VPC (VHD) format.

 

Here is a small tool that helps you quickly convert VMDK format virtual hard drive image to VHD format. VMDK2VHD converter is a tiny tool for XP, Vista and Windows 7 to convert VMDK virtual hard drive to VHD format. The tool doesn’t require an installation. It’s a standalone tool.

 

How to convert VMDK virtual hard drive to VHD format:

Add Set As Cover Option To Windows 7 Explorer Context Menu To Quickly Set An Image As Folder Cover

As many of you know, one need to rename a picture in a folder as folder (ex: folder.jpg) to make it as the folder cover. For example, you can set Windows 7 logo (with .jpg extension) for a folder containing all Windows 7 compatible software.

Since it takes a long time to rename images in every folder and is a daunting task, we have a tip to set any image as folder cover with a click. With this trick, you will be able to set folder cover with a simple right-click on a JPEG picture. So, in this guide we will show you how to add Set as cover option to your Windows 7 explorer context menu.

1. Download Set as cover zip file and extract it to your desktop or a folder.

2. Right-click on Install set as a cover registry file and select Merge option. Click Yes for User Account Control prompt. Again, click Yes for the confirmation message and finally Ok to complete the procedure.

3. Now, right-click on a JPEG image file to see Set as a cover option.

 

The only downside is that you need to manually rename the original Folder image when you want to change the folder cover for the second time. In other words, this tip can’t rename an existing image with Folder name. You can remove this option from context menu by running Uninstall set as a cover registry file.

Jumplist Extender: Add Jump List Feature To Any Program In Windows 7

Most of programs that are compatible with Windows 7 still don’t support the jump list feature. As most of us use these programs to quickly access files, programs and other features, here is an excellent tool that allows you add jump list feature to almost all programs with a few clicks.

Jumplist Extender is a small application made for Windows 7 to quickly add jump list feature to one or more software running in Windows 7. The tool is simple. To create and add a jump list, you first need to install Jumplist Extender program.

When you run the program, you will be asked to choose between three options: Start a new jumplist, Open a previously saved jumplist, and Import a saved jumplist pack. Click Start a new jumplist option, select the program to which you would like to add jump list feature and click Open button.

Click the green Plus button to add a new task, separator,file/folder or category to the jump list.  You can customize the jump list by browsing to a new icon. Once you are done with your new jump list, go to File menu and select Save and apply to taskbar option.

Previously, volume licensing (VL) version of Office productivity software does not require activation, allowing the copy of Office to be activated and used once a valid product key is entered.



To make it easy for system administrators of corporations and companies to deploy Office 2010, Microsoft allows volume licensing customers to activate Office 2010 via MAK (Multiple Activation Key), a Microsoft hosted activation method, or KMS (Key Management Service), a local self-hosted activation method.

To use KMS activation for volume licensing editions of Office 2010 suites or applications, Project 2010 or Visio 2010, an Office 2010 KMS host is required, which can be built from existing KMS host for Windows 7. To make activation even easier, all volume editions of Office 2010 client products are pre-installed with a KMS client key so that volume licensing customers does not need to install a product key on installed VLK copy of Office 2010, Project 2010 and Visio 2010.

However, KMS host license files are required to be installed onto the KMS host so that the KMS host service can recognize Office 2010 KMS host keys. While installing the KMS host license pack, the executable will also prompt user to enter Office 2010 KMS host key and activate the host key. Once KMS host is activated for Office 2010, it can respond to activation request from Office 2010 clients. In tutorialul urmator va voi arata cum puteti sa creati un autoplaylist in Windows Media Player 12, valabil doar pentru cei ce utilizeaza Windows 7.

Daca te-ai plictisit de propriile playlist-uri, sau pur si simplu esti curios care sunt melodiile pe care le-ai ascultat cel mai mult in ultima vreme, solutia sta in listele automate de redare din Windows Media Player 12. In cele ce urmeaza voi reda prin imagini pasii necesari pentru crearea de liste de redare dinamice, automate pe baza unor criterii personalizabile.

Pasul 1:

Faceţi click pe sageata verticala Create Playlist  şi selectaţi Create auto playlist.

Pasul 2:

In fereastra New Auto Playlist dati un nume Playlist-ului dvs.

Pasul 3:

Acum trebuie sa va alegeti criteriul prin care sa se “filtreze” Playlistul -> “Click here to add criteria” .

Pasul 4:

Ca exemplu, vom crea un Playlist cu melodiile  care s-au adaugat la biblioteca în ultima saptamana din genul alternativ. Deci, vom selecta primul “Date Added” din lista verticala.

Pasul 5:

Mai multe criterii vor avea opţiuni pentru a configura in plus. In exemplul de mai jos veţi vedea că avem o serie de opţiuni .

 

Pasul 6:

Noi vom filtra toate melodiile adaugate la biblioteca din ultimele 7 zile. Vom selecta “Is After” din prima listă verticală.

Pasul 7:

Apoi selectaţi “Last 7 days” din a doua listă verticală.

Pasul 8:

Puteţi adăuga mai multe criterii pentru a filtra în continuare lista de redare. Dacă nu puteţi găsi criteriile pe care il cautati, selectaţi “More” în partea de jos a listei verticale.

 

Pasul 9:

Apoi va aparea o fereastra cu filtru de toate criteriile. Selectaţi un filtru şi apoi pe OK când aţi terminat.

 

Pasul 10:

De la  Genre, vom selecta “alternative”.

Pasul 11:

Dacă doriţi să adăugaţi imagini, videoclipuri, emisiuni TV  la listele de redare auto, puteti face acest lucru prin selectarea  din lista derulanta de sub “And also include “.

Pasul 12:

Veţi putea apoi să selectaţi criteriile pentru imagini, videoclipuri, emisiuni TV sau din lista verticală.

 

Pasul 13:

În cele din urmă, puteţi adăuga, de asemenea, restricţii la muzică, cum ar fi numărul de piese, durata, sau dimensiunea totală. Noi vom limita durata de redare  la o oră, prin selectarea “ Limit Total Duration To…”

Pasul 14:

Apoi tastaţi  1 (o oră) … Faceţi click pe OK.

 

Pasul  15:

Biblioteca noastră este automat filtrată şi o listă de redare este creata pe baza criteriilor  selectate.

Pasul 16:

Când adaugati melodii noi in Windows Media Player, oricare dintre acestea care se potrivesc criteriilor selectate vor fi adăugate automat în lista de redare New Songs.

Pasul 17:

Deasemenea, puteţi salva o copie a unei liste de redare auto ca o listă de redare regulata. Comutaţi la vizualizarea Playlist, făcând clic pe “Playlist” fie din meniul de sus sau din bara de navigare.

Pasul 18:

 Selectaţi butonul  “Play”, apoi faceţi clic pe “Clear” pentru a elimina orice piese din  listă.

Pasul 19:

Click-dreapta pe lista de redare pe care doriţi să le salvaţi (proaspat creata), selectaţi “Add to”, apoi “Playlist “.

Pasul 20:

Melodiile vor aparea ca o listă nesalvata pe panoul WMP. Faceţi click pe “Save list “ .

Pasul 21:

Scrieţi un nume pentru lista de redare.

Pasul 22:

Playlist-ul Automat va continua să se schimbe pe măsură ce adăugaţi sau eliminaţi elemente din biblioteca Media Player care îndeplinesc criteriile stabilite. Lista de redare proaspat salvata va ramane asa cum este in prezent.

Acum, o concluzie:

Playlist-uri auto sunt o modalitate foarte buna de a pastra în stare “proaspata” listele de redare in Windows Media Player 12. Utilizatorii au o larga varietate de criterii pentru a personaliza auditia pieselor, iar faptul ca acestea se creaza si updateaza automat le recomanda atunci cand nu stiti ce vreti sa ascultati.
